# Are PCB mounting holes a standard?

Are the distances between PCB holes somehow a standard?
The reason I ask is because I’ve bought a HiFiBerry card and they don’t sell any boxes for it, so it got me wondering if the mounting holes are based on some kind of standard distances.
That would make it possible to mount it in some kind of hole plate that follows said standard.
Am I confused here?😉

Hi,
No there’s no standard. But since it seems to be a Raspberry Pi hat, I suspect they are using the Raspberry Pi hole distances.

I wonder how you came to this opinion. It just takes 20 seconds to type HiFiBerry into a search engine and land on their website where they sell enclosures. But maybe I’m looking for the wrong thing… 🤔
