Hi
Every time I open my project and go into the board editor, my chosen values for trace-width and via sizes has reverted back to the default values.

How do I stop this behavior?
Or alternatively, how do I change the default values?

Hi,
There’s currently no way to avoid this, but I just opened an issue to improve it some day:

>
> \##### SUMMARY
> \<!-- Describe what feature should be added or improved, or what u…sability flaw
> you encountered. Provide screenshots if reasonable. --\>
>
> Currently the default settings of tools (e.g. trace width or via size) are hardcoded and might often not be what is desired by the user. See also https://librepcb.discourse.group/t/board-editor-keeps-forgetting-my-settings/719.

> \##### SOLUTION
> \<!-- Optionally, propose how the feature or improvement could be implemented, or
> how other EDA tools have implemented it and if you like it or not. --\>

> Instead of hardcoded values, we might consider:
> \- Providing values already used in the opened project
> \- Memorize and restore last used values after application restart
> \- Make default values configurable
