Is there a way yet to add areas of unmasked copper to a board without creating a component?
Like arbitrary SMT pads that are not on the schem? (Arbitrary THT pads not on the schem would also be really useful)
It’s something I need to to quite often, usually for some sort of shielding connection.
I can do it by making a plane and them manually unmasking it, but it is clunky and when i create a plane it doesn’t fill the plane unless I put a via or a component on it and then it fills and then I can remove the component. I’m not sure if this is a bug or if I just don’t understand something.
