Success story: librePCB running on Sequoia OCLP (macOS 15.7.1)

Earlier this year my first attempts on trying out librePCB were failing since my macOS was too old. Now I have successfully installed macOS 15.7.1 (Sequoia) on my old hardware (MBP 11,2) and I was able to install and run librePCB 1.3.0.
Thanks for developing librePCB.

Nice, thanks for sharing :slightly_smiling_face:

Note that fortunately the issue that LibrePCB runs only on recent macOS versions is now even resolved. I have put quite some effort into this topic and could get LibrePCB running even on macOS 10.14. This will be available from the next release on. Seems it is too late for you, but there are also many other users which still work with an older macOS.

Ah, nice to hear that. Thanks for putting effort into this issue. This will surely be contributing to a growing user base.

BTW, I will be importing a bunch of EAGLE project in the upcoming weeks or so. Can I bother here when I’m observing glitches or incompatibilities?

Of course, just let me know if you experience any issues or have questions about it
