Hi, I get the following error or warning:

Empty segment of net xxx. The message tells me that is not harmful and that I have to report it as a bug

Where is the problem?

Hi,

Thanks for reporting! Do you know when these messages appeared, i.e. did they exist immediately after the v1 → v2 upgrade, or did they come after working on the layout with LibrePCB 2.0?

If you don’t know exactly, it would be helpful for us if you can monitor the situation, i.e. check if those messages appear when working on the layout. It would be very helpful for us to know if this happens after drawing traces, or after deleting objects or so.

In the mean time, you can apply the autofix to get rid of the empty segments (and thus also those messages).

Hi ubruhin,

I am almost certain that I did not get these messages in version 1.3.0-unstable. I produced a PCB using that version and I don’t remember seeing them.

It seems that they appeared in the latest 2.0 RC1. I’m not 100% sure, but almost.
I will monitor the situation

Alright, I’ll appreciate if you post any news about this here. I’ll also keep an eye on this problem.
