It is frequently necessary to position components on a pcb at precise locations. Connectors, Mounting and fixings holes, even IC’s so they are correctly positioned for a heat-sink pad machined in a casting. It would be very helpful if a “Lock Attribute” could be added to a component to prevent it being moved, deleted or edited at least accidentally.
