I think it would be beneficial to swap the zoom and pan gestures. On a trackpad, zooming is dragging with two fingers, and panning is zooming on the trackpad with two fingers. (expanding and contracting the distance between the fingers.
Thanks for this request. I totally agree, it’s not this way by design but because it’s difficult (or even impossible) to implement trackpad gestures properly with Qt. Anyway, I added this request to our issue tracker:
