I am creating a new footprint of a 40-pin device (dual row). The pins are placed 2.54 mm from each other (side by side), and 40 mm from each other across the device. Placing the first row of pads was of course easy, but the opposing side wanted to be placed on the 2.54 mm grid which would be incorrect for me (40 is not an even multiple of 40). Is there any way to place multiple pads, and then move them all to the correct X-position simultaneously? Now I had to open each pad separately and change the X position so that they would be placed 40 mm from the opposing pads.
