How can I do this?
In context menu there is only “move to other library”. Probably a very simple solution, but I could not find it, sorry.
kind regards and thanks, Gerd

That’s the way to do it. Unfortunately the wording is a bit misleading, but the dialog that shows up provides the options “copy” or “move” (move only for writable libraries).
Hope that helps.
yes it helped, and indeed a little bit misleading
not only because of the wording.
Also because of the “fat” warning and the greyed option about copy, which I just have not noticed.
thanks anyway, librepcb is in any case a great piece of software, but as I could see in the discussions still the library is one of the bigger issues.

I agree - IIRC we had two separate context menu entries in the past but then for some reason merged them into one, which probably was a bad idea
I will split it again for the next release.
Thanks for the kind words. The library is getting bigger, but there’s still a lot to do…
