I have just installed LibrePCB on Windows 11 (Intel I9, 32 GB RAM, 1T M2 SSD) and I do not seem to have access to the Library manager as shown in the video tutorials.
The workspace folder was created successfully in my user directory during installation.
Has anybody else had similar problems? i was looking to use LibrePCB rather than Kicad, which I have used for tseveral years. I ultimately intend to run in Linux Zorin, but was looking to get familiar in widows before switching to Zorin.
Maybe you saw videos for V1,x?
In V2 you can find the libraries in the symbol list on the left side of the window. Klick on the one that looks like a disk stack.
see Install Remote Libraries | LibrePCB Documentation
Thanks walter, this is what I did but I had no install option shown on the menu. I could tick on the libraries i require and the switch goes green, but I could not see any install option.
did you check firewall/network/security settings? the software needs to access https://api.librepcb.org
That sounds strange. Can you post a screenshot?
And could you post the version details from the “About LibrePCB” panel (click on the “Copy to Clipboard” button and paste here)?
