If this system is purely library-based, I would assume by changing the library item I would change it in the schematic or board. Apparently not. It seems I’ve tried everything under the sun, from placing it again to changing package between two options, to choosing random package in the library, saving, choosing correct one again, and then saving and reloading. Nothing. It just stuck with the old version. I would try the “refresh” button, but developers decided that button to recall item from the library would be completely useless in the library-based software for some reason, or decided to hide it somewhere. So I am out of options. Usually every step here needs shaman dances to do literally anything, but when even that doesn’t work… now what? Or do I need to start the project from the scratch every time I move a pad for half a millimeter on one component? Linux mint, Libre v.2.1.1
Just use the Project Library Manager from the Project menu item:
I recommend you to bump the version number of every library element you modified, to see in the project library manager which elements are outdated. But it is not strictly required, the updater will update every element, no matter what version number they have.
