Hello and thanks for LibrePCB.
I m making my first pcb with libre PCB andbi don’t find layer switchers neither in the schematics editor, nor the pcb editor, nor the component editor. It makes edition quite tricky.
His there a keyboard shortcut to make it appear ? So that i can filter the layers i need to edit.
Hi,
In the board editor there is a layer panel available in the side bar. In the other editors this is currently not available. I agree in the package editor this should also be available so this will come for sure. But for the schematic editor, which basically consists only of symbols and wires, I actually wonder how a layer panel would be useful
Thanks,
I have located it now.
I was trying to locate it in the panels side bars.
Is there a way to “lock” or “edit only” a layer ?
Hmm no currently that is not supported. Only individual devices and polygons can be locked/unlocked.
It’s been a while since I used an EDA. Thanks for LibrePCB. It’s really easy to use for a beginner.
Even if it is not a PCB editor, I really like how Inkscape deals with layers.
I’m a bit clumsy and restricting the effects of the edition really helps me.
