I would like to add the part number and version to my pcb. That is a rectangular space provisioned in a plane and the number appear as track (traces) with in the rectangle. Not as silk screen, that’s too easy.
There is not problem defining the necessary text and placing it on the appropriate copper layer. I’m having a issue providing the rectangular box (a space in the plane) with in which the text is to sit. Any suggestions as to how this can be achieved would be appreciated.
